Dr. Richard Wedge

Dr. Richard Wedge, currently the Executive Director of Medical Affairs for Health, Prince Edward Island (PEI), is responsible for physician services throughout PEI, as well as for new technology assessment, pharmaceutical policy, and medical education. Previously, he was the Director of Medical Programs for the PEI Department of Health. Dr. Wedge is trained as a family physician and still does ER work, as well as family practice locums on PEI. He became a member of the CADTH Board of Directors five years ago and previously served on several national Boards including that of the Canadian Medical Association.
