Glenna Benson, Vice-President, Programs

Glenna Benson is the Vice-President, Programs at the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), and leads the areas of environmental scanning, program development, partnerships, outreach, and impact. This also includes oversight of CADTH’s Central Intake, Communications, Knowledge Exchange, and Liaison Program portfolios.

She has held a broad range of responsibilities over her eight-year tenure at CADTH. Glenna was responsible for the initial development, creation, and management of the Agency’s Communications, Knowledge Exchange, and Liaison Program functions in 2004. She also has an impressive track record in planning and priority setting, financial management, and customer service, achieved through the management of a diverse team providing integral support functions to CADTH’s directorates, as the Vice-President of Corporate Services.

As an experienced senior manager and administrator, Glenna has a multi-faceted background in financial management, strategic planning, administration, information technology, and systems, as well as new program development and delivery. She gained her extensive experience through her work with the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers and, prior to that, with two federal government departments.
