OTTAWA - The Canadian Expert Drug Advisory Committee (CEDAC) Nominating Committee will accept nominations of prospective CEDAC members until May 5, 2003.
CEDAC is a new independent national advisory committee that will make formulary listing recommendations to participating federal/provincial/territorial drug plans as part of the Common Drug Review.
The Nominating Committee is seeking highly qualified professionals with expertise in drug therapy and drug evaluation to serve on CEDAC for a minimum two-year term.
The Nominating Committee will accept nominations from participating federal/provincial/territorial drug plans, the Common Drug Review Committee (CDRC), and Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturers. Nominating Committee members can also nominate prospective members.
A complete nomination package has been sent to the managers of participating drug plans, CDRC members and major industry associations.
