Brian O’Rourke Appointed Vice-President, Common Drug Review

The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health
(CADTH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian O’Rourke as
Vice-President, Common Drug Review (CDR). He will assume his new duties
effective January 5, 2009.
Brian O’Rourke brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CADTH, including more than 28 years in pharmacy practice and management. He has had a distinguished career with the Canadian Forces and currently holds the position of Deputy Commander, Canadian Forces Medical Group.
Brian has been licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists since 1980 and is an active member of the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
The recipient of numerous honours from the Canadian military, he is an Officer of the Order of Military Merit (2005) and has received the Canadian Peace Keeping Service Medal (1999) and the Special Service Medal (1990). Brian will be a great addition to the team at CADTH.
