Recording of CADTH Webinar on Insulin Preparations Now Available

On June 18 and 23, CADTH offered a free webinar examining insulin preparations for the treatment of diabetes in partnership with the University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development. More than 200 registrants participated, and a recording of this webinar is now available:
The session was developed for physicians but was open to all interested health care professionals. Dr. Marshall Dahl, a leading endocrinologist and member of the COMPUS Expert Review Committee (CERC), reviewed the evidence supporting the use of human insulin and insulin analogues in the treatment of diabetes. He also identified the optimal use of insulin preparations in the general population with diabetes and special cases where insulin analogues should be considered.
