CADTH Organizational Announcement

CADTH wishes to announce the following changes to its Directors team.

Bill Leslie, Director, Impact, Partnerships and Outreach will retire from CADTH on December 31, 2010. He joined CADTH in 2007 and the Agency has benefitted significantly from his experience, ideas and energy. We wish Bill well as he takes on the adventures he has planned for his retirement years.

Denis Bélanger has been appointed to succeed Bill and he will assume the position of Director, Impact, Partnerships and Outreach, effective January 3, 2011. Denis joined CADTH in 2006 and his expertise and ability to engage external stakeholders to maximize the impact of the Agency’s work makes him the ideal candidate to succeed Bill in this role.

Recruitment is underway for Denis’ current position of Director, Formulary Recommendations and Rapid Response Service. Denis will continue to lead the Rapid Response Service until the new Director is in place and able to assume these responsibilities.

Also during this transition period, Sandy Pagotto, Director Environmental Scanning and Program Development will take on additional responsibilities as the Interim Director, Common Drug Review (CDR). Sandy will provide direct support for CADTH’s formulary recommendations and review process (CDR).

These staff assignments will ensure that the Agency delivers on its priorities during this period of change.
