Informing Decision Makers About Emerging Medical Technologies

Our sixth issue of Health Technology Update includes articles about new treatments for asthma, emphysema, benign thyroid disease, diabetic foot ulcers, and lumbar spinal stenosis. You’ll also find an item about a new “virtual colonoscopy” procedure using magnetic resonance imaging.

We would like to draw your attention to a publication similar to ours, produced by our colleagues “Down Under”. The Australia and New Zealand Horizon Scanning Network (ANZHSN) issues a quarterly newsletter that provides information on medical technologies that are expected to make an impact in Australia and New Zealand.
