Health Technology Update - Issue 13
Welcome to the thirteenth issue of Health Technology Update. The first newsletter of 2010 brings you more information about technologies that could significantly impact the health of patients and lead to high-quality, efficient, and sustainable health care in Canada.
Our feature article focuses on the growth of hospital-based
health technology assessment across Canadian jurisdictions. Issue highlights
include the role of the national drug review in the Yukon, and recommendations for
self-monitoring of blood glucose using test strips. This issue also focuses on
new and emerging health technologies in infection control and, as always,
provides updates and links to recent Canadian health technology assessments,
recommendations, and clinical practice guidelines.
