About Methods and Guidelines
The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) delivers reliable, evidence-based information about the effectiveness and efficiency of drugs and other health technologies through a variety of products and services.
CADTH produces methods and guidelines as a resource for internal and external analysts who are undertaking these health technology assessments. The objective is to assist researchers in producing credible, standardized information that is relevant and useful to health care decision-makers.
Examples include:
- Guidelines for Economic Evaluation of Health Technologies: Canada (3rd Edition, 2006) and an Addendum with Specific Guidance for Oncology Products (2009)
- Indirect Evidence: Indirect Treatment Comparisons in Meta-Analysis (2009)
- Development and Testing of Search Filters to Identify Economic Evaluations in MEDLINE and EMBASE (2009).
