CADTH originally published Octaplas Compared with Fresh Frozen Plasma to Reduce the Risk of Transmitting Lipid-Enveloped Viruses: An Economic Analysis and Budget Impact Analysis in March 2008. A new report was published in March 2011 (listed above), which includes more recent estimates of the risks of transfusion-related adverse events and updated cost-effectiveness findings.
