The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), through its Canadian Optimal Medication Prescribing and Utilization Service (COMPUS), is producing a series of optimal therapy reports on the insulin analogues component of our diabetes management topic area.

COMPUS has reviewed and updated the Optimal Therapy Report on Long-Acting Insulin Analogues for the Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus: Meta-analyses of Clinical Outcomes originally posted on the CADTH web site on February 21, 2008.
The final report and summary of revisions are now available on the CADTH web site.
Uptake of COMPUS Information on Proton Pump Inhibitors
The variety of ready-to-use products and tools developed by COMPUS to assist decision makers and educators in conveying COMPUS key messages on proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) is being widely used across Canada. Examples of how COMPUS is supporting decision makers in moving toward optimal drug therapy have been posted to the CADTH web site. This information will be updated on a quarterly basis.
