Tools

To assist health care providers, policy makers, and consumers with the local implementation of optimal second-line therapies for patients with diabetes inadequately controlled on metformin, COMPUS will develop and post here a variety of intervention tools and materials to influence prescribing behaviour. These tools will be developed based on our evidence-based clinical and cost-effectiveness information (detailed in our Optimal Therapy Reports). To make these resources relevant to different audiences, COMPUS will assist in your implementation initiatives by tailoring specific tools to individual needs.

To help decision makers evaluate optimal therapy initiatives, COMPUS is also developing a series of generic tools, including an audit and feedback guide, evaluation framework, and academic detailing templates. As these tools become available they will be posted here.
