Liaison Program
Our Liaison Program is one of our key knowledge transfer mechanisms. Working closely with stakeholders in provincial and territorial jurisdictions, CADTH Liaison Officers are well positioned to support decision makers’ access to and use of evidence-based health technology information. They contribute to enhanced communications between CADTH and the jurisdictions, and they highlight local needs, issues, and priorities that can guide program development, service delivery, and improvement to ensure that CADTH’s products and services remain responsive and relevant.
The Liaison Officers actively engage with health care decision makers in their jurisdictions to:
- increase local awareness of CADTH programs, products, and services
- facilitate access to information and resources needed to address local issues
- encourage the use of evidence-based information in decisions about health technologies
- gather information on local health technology issues and priorities; identify potential topics for assessment, information, and educational needs; convey information on processes and timelines related to health technology decisions
- provide client feedback to CADTH to help improve the relevance and quality of its products and services
- identify local expertise and resources to support CADTH programs and activities
- provide opportunities for networking and information sharing in and between jurisdictions.
The Liaison Program makes it easier for health care decision makers to access evidence-based information about health technologies.
