Policy Forum

The Policy Forum was created in response to the Health Technology Strategy 1.0, and the subsequent Implementation Strategy, approved by the Conference of Deputy Ministers in May 2004 and April 2005 respectively.  The mandate of the Policy Forum is to provide federal, provincial, and territorial jurisdictions with opportunities to share information and collaborate on health technology policy initiatives, where it is beneficial to its members.  Presently, the focus of Policy Forum activities is on issues related to the implementation, management, and decommissioning of non-drug health technologies.

 CADTH provides secretariat support to the Policy Forum.
