From time to time, the Policy Forum commissions discussion papers on a variety of health-technology related issues.  The purpose of these papers is to provide background information that supports the Policy Forum in discussions about strategic policy issues and opportunities for common approaches.  The structure of the papers varies based on the topic, but may include information on the current ‘state of the union’ with respect to a particular health technology, procedure or policy; an analysis of related challenges; or proposed approaches to an issue.  Because the information contained in these papers may be of value to many, the Policy Forum has decided to make these discussion papers publicly available.
