CADTH is seeking nominations for its expert and advisory committees. If you have significant expertise in the Canadian health care system, are interested in helping support health care decision-makers in making informed choices about health technologies, and are passionate about ensuring that the Canadian health care system is the best it can be, we encourage you to apply.
CADTH is an independent, not-for-profit organization responsible for providing Canada’s health care decision-makers with objective evidence to help make informed decisions about the optimal use of drugs and medical devices in our health care system. CADTH receives funding from Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec.

The CADTH Canadian Drug Expert Committee (CDEC) provides expert advice and makes drug reimbursement and optimal use recommendations through the CADTH Common Drug Review and Therapeutic Review processes.

The CADTH Health Technology Expert Review Panel (HTERP) develops recommendations for CADTH projects related to diagnostic tests and medical, dental, and surgical devices and procedures.

The Patient and Community Advisory Committee (PCAC) comprises of individuals with lived experience with the Canadian health care system and who are familiar with issues in health care in Canada. PCAC provides CADTH with advice on issues relevant to its mandate from the perspective of those using the Canadian health care system.

The CADTH Device Advisory Committee (DAC) provides advice to CADTH about health system issues and decision points in which evidence could enable better management of medical devices (defined as medical devices, clinical interventions, diagnostic tests, and medical, dental, and surgical procedures).
We are seeking
As part of the CADTH Post-Market Drug Evaluation (PMDE) Program, the Advisory Committee will advise on complex queries, advising on current and emerging methods to address PMDE needs and identifying potential specialized experts as needed. The committee will also identify and support opportunities for patient engagement in the program and promote the PMDE work of the program.
