CADTH Lecture Series – Health Technology Assessment: Then, Now, and Beyond...

The CADTH Lecture Series provides prominent scholars and opinion leaders with a forum to discuss pressing issues facing health technology assessment (HTA) and health care today.

Renaldo Battista, MD, MPH, ScD, FRCP (C), Scientific Director, Fonds de recherche du Québec — Santé

Dr. Renaldo Battista is one of the key figures in the development of HTA in his home province of Quebec, nationally, and internationally. He was a co-organizer of the interprovincial symposium on HTA in 1989, which led to the creation of CADTH, and actively collaborated on the creation of the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA). His pioneering work was recognized in 2014, when he was one of the inaugural recipients of the CADTH Anniversary Medal, and again in 2015, when he was the recipient of the Dr. Jill M.
