Defining "Decision-Grade Real World Evidence” and its Role in the Canadian Context: A Design Sprint — Pre-Conference Workshop / CAPT Annual Conference

CADTH, in partnership with Health Canada, the Institute of Health Economics (IHE), and the Canadian Association for Population Therapeutics (CAPT) is hosting a special workshop to solicit input from stakeholders into the development of frameworks for the use of real world evidence in regulatory and reimbursement decision-making.

The daylong interactive workshop is being held as a pre-conference event in conjunction at the 2018 CAPT Annual Conference.

More than 80 stakeholders representing regulators, health technology assessment agencies, government decision-makers, data holders, industry, and patients will provide input and advice that will inform the development of the frameworks. Health Canada and CADTH intend to finalize their aligned frameworks over the next six months and to start using them in 2019.

Active participation in the workshop is limited to invited attendees. If you’re interested in attending as an observer, please contact the CAPT Administration Office at [email protected]. Observer participation may be limited due to space and other constraints. A summary of the workshop discussion will be available in November 2018.
