In February 2022, CADTH announced the creation of a Post-Market Drug Evaluation (PMDE) Program.

The PMDE Program is responsible for establishing and coordinating a network of experts in applied drug research, methodology, and data analysis who can deliver timely evidence in response to policy questions about the post-market safety and effectiveness of drugs approved in Canada. To establish a solid network that is responsive and dynamic, funding will be allocated to network partners through both grants (65%) and contracts (35%).

On February 1, 2022, the PMDE Program launched its Request for Proposal (RFP) for Core Network Partner grants and now a second RFP has been issued for Standing Offer Contractors.

For an overview of the RFP process for Standing Offer Contractors, plan to attend our 45-minute PMDE Program information session. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• learn about the new PMDE Program and its pan-Canadian query response network
• understand how to respond to the RFP for contract funding
• ask questions through a live question and answer forum.
