Implementation Support and Knowledge Mobilization team

( Last Updated : February 21, 2006)

At CADTH, we don't simply write a report and move on. We're committed to making sure our work has an impact. Our Implementation Support and Knowledge Mobilization (ISKM) team is at your service to help you make and implement evidence-informed policy and practice decisions. The team comprises health professionals with a variety of skills — such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, research, communications, and education.

You'll find us from coast to coast to coast.

ISKM team members are located across the country. This gives us an understanding of the regional needs of each health jurisdiction, allowing us to provide our customers with customized support. Having CADTH staff located close to customers is invaluable when working in a country as vast as Canada. It means you'll never have to call across 3 time zones to get the help you need.

We'll help you get evidence you can use.

If CADTH has already produced a report on your topic of interest, our ISKM team can find it for you. If you're eligible to request new CADTH work, the ISKM team can help you choose the CADTH product or service that will meet your needs. The team will also help you formulate a research question so that the evidence we deliver to you can be used right away in your decision-making.

We can help you implement the evidence.

Once we've provided you with the evidence, our ISKM team can develop tailored products, services, and tools to help you turn the evidence into action. Our ISKM tools include plain language summaries, prescribing tools and decision aids, publications, online resources, and much more.

The CADTH ISKM team can also help you build the capacity and culture to work with evidence within your organization. We offer a variety of presentations, webinars, and workshops to support the uptake of evidence, which can all be customized to your regional needs.

We're well-connected.

The CADTH ISKM team is connected to a wide network of health care stakeholders. This allows us to share our evidence and ISKM tools widely, and it also gives us an understanding of how research evidence had been successfully applied to policy and practice in environments similar to yours.

CADTH works closely with other Canadian and international evidence organizations. So, if we don't have the information and resources you need, our ISKM team may be able to find what you're looking for from another trusted source.
