CADTH Webinar — Community-Based Aerosol Transmission of COVID-19 and HVAC Systems (December 3, 2020)

  • Join our panel of experts for a discussion about what the latest research says about how heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems contribute to spreading or mitigating the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
  • Speakers include William (Bill) Dean (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc.), Dr. David Fisman (University of Toronto), and Dr. Jason Kindrachuk (University of Manitoba).

  • Remdesivir
    On November 20, 2020, WHO issued a conditional recommendation against the use of remdesivir in patients hospitalized with COVID-19, regardless of disease severity.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Candidate: mRNA-1273
    On November 16, 2020, Moderna Inc. announced interim analysis results of their COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
  • Fluvoxamine
    On November 12, 2020, preliminary results of the STOP COVID study were published.
