Lesley Dunfield, Vice President, Medical Devices and Clinical Interventions

Dr. Lesley Dunfield is Vice-President, Medical Devices and Clinical Interventions, at CADTH. Lesley is responsible for Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Rapid Response, and program development activities, which include non-drug Environmental Scans and Horizon Scanning. She also oversees the Canadian Medical Imaging Inventory, Canada’s most comprehensive source of information about advanced medical imaging equipment.

During her tenure at CADTH, Lesley has helped expand Horizon Scanning activities, initiate Condition-Level Reviews, and advance programs designed to help health care decision-makers adapt to changing health technology trends. She works closely with CADTH’s Health Technology Expert Review Panel, Device Advisory Committee, and the Pan-Canadian HTA Collaborative.

Lesley holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University.
