The CADTH Board of Directors has announced that Suzanne McGurn has been appointed as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of CADTH effective July 6, 2020. Ms. McGurn will succeed Dr. Brian O’Rourke, who announced his retirement from CADTH in October 2019 after serving as President and Chief Executive Officer since 2010. Dr. O’Rourke delayed his retirement during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to help ensure a smooth transition in leadership. Read the full announcement.
Our second COVID-19 webinar “Addressing Psychological Trauma Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Can Technology Help in a Time of Acute Crisis?” is taking place on June 11th on. This webinar will discuss the findings of an evidence review on internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Rima Styra, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, and Louise Bradley, President and CEO of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, will join us to offer their perspectives on the impact of this pandemic on people’s mental health.
