In the News – “Why do my cancer drugs cost more than gold?”

The high cost of cancer medications across Canada is examined by Paul Taylor, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Patient Navigation Advisor, in his latest Your Health Matters column.

Dr. Mona Sabharwal, Executive Director of the CADTH pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR), was interviewed for the article. In it, she reflects on the important role the pCODR program plays in creating a high-quality, pan-Canadian approach to reviewing cancer drugs that reduces duplication among our public drug plans and provincial cancer agencies.
