Excluded Reviews

The reviews listed in this section were identified during the searching and screening of the literature and judged to be ineligible based on one or more of the following criteria:

  1. Quality - Review is of low methodological quality, with an AMSTAR score ≤3.
  2. Overlap - Review has been updated OR the topic is more comprehensively covered by another review.
  3. Relevance - Review is of limited/insufficient relevance to the overall scope of this database either because the interventions in the review are not aimed directly at the relevant populations OR only a small proportion of the included studies in the review have relevant interventions and outcomes.
  4. Pending - Reviews listed as ‘Summary Pending’ will be analyzed, summarized and reported at a later date and the findings will then be incorporated in the overall evidence summaries of the interventions they address.

These reviews are listed here to demonstrate transparency in the methods used in collation of this database.

Links are provided when the review can be accessed through PubMed.
