DRUG REIMBURSEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

CADTH recently issued the following CADTH Canadian Drug Expert Committee (CDEC) drug reimbursement recommendations:

• rivaroxaban (Xarelto) for prevention of stroke and cardiovascular events in coronary and peripheral artery disease.

CADTH PAN-CANADIAN ONCOLOGY DRUG REVIEW (pCODR)

CADTH recently issued the following pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR) Expert Review Committee (pERC) Drug Reimbursement Recommendations:

• obinutuzumab (Gazyva) for treatment of patients with previously untreated stage II bulky (> 7cm), III, or IV follicular lymphoma

• nivolumab in combination with ipilimumab (Opdivo in combination with Yervoy) for intermediate-/poor-risk patients with previously untreated, advanced, or metastatic renal cell carcinoma

• apalutamide (Erleada) for non-metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer

• Screening for Chlamydia Trachomatis and Neisseria Gonorrhoeae During Pregnancy
