CADTH was pleased to have announced the appointment of Mr. David Agnew, President of Seneca College, to Chair of the CADTH Board of Directors.

Health Canada, CADTH, and INESSS are hosting a webinar September 26, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EDT to provide details on the aligned review process that was announced in June 2018. Drug Reimbursement Recommendations

CADTH recently issued the following CADTH Canadian Drug Expert Committee (CDEC) drug reimbursement recommendations:

• dupilumab (Dupixent) for atopic dermatitis
• darunavir/cobicistat/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (Symtuza) for HIV-1 infection
• buprenorphine subdermal implant (Probuphine) for opioid dependence
• nitisinone (Nitisinone) for hereditary tyrosinemia type 1
• eluxadoline (Viberzi) for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea
• ixekizumab (Taltz) for active psoriatic arthritis
• levodopa / carbidopa (Duodopa) for Parkinson’s disease
• abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport Therapeutic) for lower limb spasticity
• fluticasone furoate / umeclidinium / vilanterol (Trelegy Ellipta) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

CADTH recently issued the following pCODR Expert Review Committee (pERC) drug reimbursement recommendations:

• atezolizumab (Tecentriq) for non–small cell lung cancer
• alectinib (Alecensaro) for non–small cell lung cancer
• trifluridine and tipiracil (Lonsurf) for metastatic colorectal cancer 
• inotuzumab ozogamicin (Besponsa) for acute lymphoblastic leukemia

• CADTH’s Opioid Evidence Bundle has been updated. This bundle includes our best evidence on opioids and covers the topics of pain treatment; misuse/abuse, overdose, and harms; opioid use disorder and addiction treatment; and alternatives to opioids.
