New Canadian Web Resources Provide Evidence on Healthy Aging and Long-Term Care

Three Canadian organizations — CADTH, RxFiles, and McMaster University — are focusing on senior health and promoting evidence-based decision-making.

CADTH has bundled its research reports and reviews on the topic of long-term care in a new section of its website for easy access: www.cadth.ca/longtermcare

RxFiles has developed a repository of information on long-term care and residential care, drawing from its own reports and brokering CADTH work: www.rxfiles.ca/ltc

McMaster University has launched the McMaster Optimal Aging Portal, which features information for citizens about staying healthy, active, and engaged as they grow older: www.mcmasteroptimalaging.org

We are pleased to support these three web initiatives, which work toward the same goal of strengthening health care for seniors. We believe that credible, objective evidence should inform health care decisions, and making this information available to everyone helps Canadians play an active role in their health care.
