CADTH is undertaking an Environmental Scan on the cost of dental restorative procedures covered by public dental care programs in Canada. The aim of the Environmental Scan will be to identify Canadian public funding schemes, to describe which populations are funded, and to provide an estimate of the cost of procedures involving composite or amalgam filling. The data collected will inform the economic review being conducted as part of the CADTH Health Technology Assessment project entitled Composite Resin Versus Amalgam for Dental Restorations.
