Key Message

One health technology assessment, nine systematic reviews (including one systematic review with meta-analysis and one network meta-analysis), and four randomized controlled trials were identified regarding the clinical effectiveness of radical prostatectomy or radiation therapy for early-stage or screen-detected prostate cancer. In addition, ten evidence-based guidelines were identified regarding the use of radical prostatectomy or radiation therapy for prostate cancer.
