The role of the Patient and Community Advisory Committee is to provide CADTH with advice on matters relevant to CADTH’s mandate from the perspective of users of the Canadian health care system. Advice given relates to how CADTH approaches and undertakes its work. The committee is not involved in individual assessments.
CADTH values the contributions made by patient groups and patients to individual assessments. Opportunities for all stakeholders to share their ideas and feedback on process change, CADTH events, and individual assessments remain open. The Patient and Community Advisory Committee complements — rather than replaces — existing involvement.
We invite those of you interested in the information shared with the advisory committee, its ideas and advice offered to CADTH, to read our meeting summaries.
